how to crop a image to get rid of the transparent backround

Recommended Posts

If you mean you want to get rid of the transparent area that borders the non-transparent region, so the non-transparent region fills the canvas, then:

Use the Magic Wand to select the transparent area, using a low tolerance so only the transparent pixels are selected.

Invert the selection.

Crop to the selection.

Deselect.
