Ace Muffins
Hey everyone, I was wondering if paint.net will ever be ported/have a working version of it on Linux, I have been wanting to switch to it full time for a while, but so far this program was one of the few that prevented me from doing so. Any topics I found on the matter are years old, and say that running new versions of paint.net under wine is impossible. Is there any hope for a port of it? Or does the program require too many things that are just not available on Linux under wine and similar?

That said, some people have been able to get version 3.5.11 working--you could check that out. You won't be completely out in the cold as I do have a plugin pack that works under that version. There's also a build of CodeLab for it. 11 minutes ago, Ace Muffins said: running new versions of paint.net under wine is impossible That's something you should take up with the wine folks, not us. BTW, this is a FAQ, so I'm going to close this thread. Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Computer Dominos Game
