Rick Brewster Posted September 12, 2018 Share Posted September 12, 2018 There's a new "font size metric" feature in 4.1 : It sounds like you want the old behavior, which is "Fixed (96 DPI)". This draws text at the same size no matter what, regardless of the image's DPI or the monitor's DPI. The new option is "Points", which is now the default, which draws text at a size governed by the image's DPI (resolution). This matches all other imaging programs (e.g. Photoshop, GIMP, ...) other than ye ol' Microsoft Paint (aka "mspaint"). You can set the default from Settings -> Tools, if you want/need.
