Roly Poly Goblinoli
Description If the brush size combobox is opened and there is a menuitem starting with the brush size, it will be selected. If that item doesn't equal the brush size, your selection is ignored. Steps to Reproduce 1. Open Paint.Net 2. Set brush width to 16, or any brush width under Notes 3. Click the combobox dropdown arrow 4. Whatever you select in the dropdown menu will be ignored Notes Tested with PDN version 4.0.19. These brush widths will all trigger this bug: 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 27, 32, 37, 42, 47, 110, 120, 130, 140, 160, 170, 180,
Rick Brewster
Oh interesting. I've filed a bug. Thanks for reporting this! I also noticed that if you type 16 and then click the dropdown arrow that the value changes to 1600. Something's not right with the event handling here. Until I can fix this ... umm, don't do that Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
Roly Poly Goblinoli
I believe the first menuitem in the dropdown that .StartsWith() your brush width is selected, hence "1600" is selected when your brush width is 16.
Roly Poly Goblinoli
Thanks for the compliment Welshblue. I like to report bugs with any software I use, if possible. Keeps the developers on their toes . (And I often run into bugs that are much more serious on a variety of websites, but lots of them have no bug reporting outlet!)
