It's horrible - I can't think of a single redeeming feature of it. Perhaps someone can enlighten me.... Until then, I recommend using Ctrl +/- from the keyboard for zoom in/out, Ctrl+0 for jumping to 100%, and Ctrl + Mouse Wheel for zooming.
