JK-FlexShot Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 ya, i've been havin stupid font problems but my friend fixed it, how would i figure out font is bad? Only way I can think of, would be to add 1 new font at a time, then start up Paint.Net and check if it works. Though, there's a lot of more professional people than me on these boards, so they might come up with a better answer  Quote
NickelNicole12 Posted June 22, 2008 Author Posted June 22, 2008 ya i have like a gazillion fonts added right now, idk if it that'll work but thanks anyway Quote
Myrddin Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Trackback. Try to remember back when all the problems began appearing, then try to remember any new fonts around that time. It will considerably shorten your list of fonts to concentrate on. Although, as you may have noticed, this relies heftily on your memory. Nevertheless, even a vague clue can drastically narrow down to the offensive font. Quote How to Save Your Images under Different File Types My dA Gallery
NickelNicole12 Posted June 22, 2008 Author Posted June 22, 2008 it happened when my intire font directory got deleted except system nd some othr one , everything was in marlett, that font wasnt in directory tho, when i installed the rest of the fonts PdN still wasn't working, so it has 2 b one of the 3 fonts , ill c which 1 , thanks again :] Quote
JK-FlexShot Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Oh, and if anyone of you experiences a problem like this again, you could try this: Simply move half of all your fonts to another folder, and then start Paint.Net to see if it works now. If it does, it's because the bad font(s) is one or some of the fonts you moved. If it doesn't, it means that you've got at least 1 bugged font left in that directory. Then you simply follow the same routine, and move half of the remaining fonts. This could be a time-taking method if you have several bad fonts, but I ensure you it will work  Quote
