You'll still have them, don't worry.

1. Well, you have to have it somewhere.
2. It doesn't.
3. It doesn't matter.
4. That's right.

if polldaddy works then maybe it will
It does. I have an account if flip wants me to set up the poll each week.

If anyone has any good external poll sites, let me know.

There's not a plugin for it, I know that much.
I think the main issue is that it would be a hard thing to code into a plugin. I've never seen Rick mention anything about this, so I don't think anything's going to happen on that front. You could try suggesting it in GD&Q. Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you.

Short answer: No. Sorry.
Clone Stamping may be your only option, I'm afraid.

I've more or less retired from this forum because of attitudes like this among many of our younger members. total disrespect. . .
I didn't know this, oma. You are such a great user and you always contribute what you can. But I suppose that's your decision to leave, I can understand it though, some people on here...
Suppose all I can say is ciao.

So useful when I can't think what effect to apply to an image. Thanks a lot, pyrochild.

You just keep adding more and more blend modes, don't you?
Love them all!
Got any other ideas for amazing plugins?

Sometimes, when I post an image on to the canvas, Paint.NET decides to freeze on me. The selection nodes stay active but I cannot move my image around on the canvas. It can take up to 20 minutes for Paint.NET to respond so I can move my image around. I am using Windows Vista Home Basic and Paint.NET 3.5. I do not know why this is happening and was wondering if anyone could suggest how to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Where did you place the effect in your Paint.NET folder? it should be in C:/Program Files/Paint.NET/Effects
Although if it is there, I don't know what it is and you should probably ask in the Custom Brushes Mini thread.

Thank you Rick! Amazing update as per usual.

Congratulations to yy10. I knew your entry would win from the minute I saw it! Amazing work as always.

Wilson, I must say that I am very disappointed with your decision to withdraw the entry.
It isn't about winning as much as it is about learning & growing as an artist.
A very defeatist attitude & a self-fulfilling prophesy.
Well, you can be dissapointed but that's just what I'm doing.
Defeatist, perhaps.
i didn't think i would win compared to some of the other wallpapers in the last comp but i did so you may have just declined your winningOk.
-
I know I won't win with that, so, I'm going to withdraw my entry. Sorry.
-
Yeah, well, that's what I did. So what?

Here is the stocks I used:

This is the link to my edited version of my entry, if that's ok, flip?

1. Set your image to black & white
2. Create a new layer and fill it green
3. Set the new layer to overlay.
It turned this:
Into this:
I would suggest adding on to that, with some vertical lines in a dark green colour using the Diagonal Lines plugin.

My badcake seems to be very popular. I can't see why. Yeah, people do say that a lot. It's better than the mockery I get at school.
Off-topic: I'd already dealt with my NS issues when you posted.
It's not a badcake! I thought they would. Similarly to HELEN, I was wondering why they mock you? They're probably just jealous of your superior abilities.
Off-topic: I couldn't deal with mine as BT cut me off again. Temporarily, they say.

Thanks for all your comments, guys. Just to let you know, I appreciate them, thanks a lot.
I'm redesigning my entry right now, is that ok?
-
I understand you're trying to push me to my full potential but I wanted to go simple for this wallpaper. I'll withdraw if it's not imaginative enough.
Filling on one layer to the boundry of another.

Ok, I think I understand what you want to do.
Draw the square on one layer and then select inside the square. Then create a new layer :AddNewLayer: and then fill the shape in on that layer.
