Once you write the plugin, press F6 and then the DLL will be built in: (YourProjectFolder)/(YourProjectName)/bin/Release and then you can just copy and paste the DLL file you need.

For some reason when I try to use the Random Shape Fill plug-in Paint.NET just stops working. It pretty much freezes and I have to use Task Manager to close it down.
 That's really weird because the same thing happens to me, but it's only been happening recently. Random Shape Fill used to work fine but now it doesn't. Shame.

Thanks! Actually the yellow square one wasn't all that hard to make, but I still like how it came out. The Superman one on the other hand was slightly more complicated.

You can use Boltbait's Polygon/Stars plugin to draw shapes.

Thanks! And congrats on being the first person to post in my gallery.

I guess you'd have to see if anyone else can see it.

When I click on it I get this:

What the heck, I'll enter. Oh, and just so you know your second example link is dead.

Anyway... should I make another contest?
Sure, why not? I'm always up for a contest.

Try the Displacement and Alpha Mask plugin.

You could draw a dotted line with the line tool and then use the Polar Transofrmation plugin set on Rect to Polar to change it to a circle. Hope this helps.

If you vote for yourself, you aren't cool at all.
I guess I'm not cool at all.

Where did you download it from? I would suggest downloading it from dafont.com. And here's the font I think you want: Visitor Font

Well, I don't know anything about making plugins in VB (I always use C#), but here's a template that might help you.

Thanks Simon! Everything works fine now. All that's left is to make a few small changes, and then publish it. Thanks a ton!

Well in my desperate attempt to create my first useful plugin, I've created a disaster. All the coding looks fine (well at least to me it does), but nothing on my plugin works. If anybody would be willing to look at the code and offer some advise, I would be extremely grateful. Thanks in advance.

That's called a gradient. There's a gradient tool in Paint.NET, but it can only do two colors. For a three or more color gradient you need the Multi Color Gradient Plugin.

I think (and I'm not sure about this but I think), that when you save the file using the icon plugin, you get a pop up that lets you select the dimensions of the file. Hope this helps. By the way, I think this is only available with the latest update of the plugin.

You could select the pixel with either the Magic Wand ( ), Rectangle Select ( ), the Circle Select ( ), or the Lasso Tool ( :LassoTool: ), and then use the Move Select Pixels Tool ( ) to stretch your selection.

It's probably both the C4d and the way you used it. You want the C4D to follow the flow of your sig. There's a section on flow in the tut posted above.
