Out of the first group posted the last is not that great, but the others are well done. And that last one is also well done.

This is really useful. Thank you Ash.

That space station is astounding. I mean seriously how many people make realistic model-looking objects in PDN? Excellent job.
-
I like it. It's a mixture between a grunge and simple styled sig. so it's unique and interesting. Nice job.
-
Second and yes don't say you suck. You'll improve in due time. Just experiment and follow tutorials irregardless if they are PDN or Photoshop, because you can convert a Ps tutorial in your own way in PDN.
-
Here's a new set. It is just a simple styled sig. as you can tell. I think I may do another one that expands on this one, but it will have a render.
-
Hey thanks sokagirl. That's actually a good idea. I could try it sometime during a weekend.
-
Lol.
The GF-44A Phantom top view is done:
Hidden Content:I'm too lazy to post the stats right now lol.

Thanks Goonfella and HELEN.
Yeah, I reinstalled it because of the crash I had in June. I have and ATI Radeon card which I bet can take it since my comp. is a media comp. I'll check it out and actually try something this time.
-
Sorry lol. I wasn't paying attention to that post. My suggestion is to change it to a more clean texture if you are wanting to go for something ST esque, but it's your ship, your texture. It looks interesting though.
-
Your new Halo sig. is well done, but not the greatest. The effects that you used kind of distract the eye from your focal which is Master chief.
-
Well here's the U.S.S. Raptor. This one does not come in the light of Goonfella's U.S.S. Goonfella. It's still a WIP, but the basic shape is there.
Hidden Content:This ship is a stealth ship that is capable of sustained atmospheric flight. The rear nacelle wings act like stabilators, but are not capable of a significant amount of movement due to the different aerodynamics with the nacelles on the tips. This ship was inspired by the F-22 Raptor and the YF-23. The nozzles on the engine nacelles are not the Thrust Vectoring type that is on the F-22, but merely more of a fluidic control nozzle meaning it controls how much thrust is coming out.
-
Lol. Goonfella. interesting design there. I had also made a ST ship that had something to do with my name. You have any details on it?
How did you create it? Did you use Shape 3D?
-
That OS is pretty interesting. Looks very simple to use too.
Your avy/sig combo is great. I like them. Must've been inspired by flip lol.
-
This one was done a while back. It was a photo manip. and somehow my resolution was smaller then than it is now. (1024X768 to 1820X1024)
Hidden Content:It was simple and it was designed for when I had a dock to keep my shortcuts in.

Alrighty. I made another sig. It looks pretty nice with the exception of the stock used because it is somewhat jpg'ed. But it still is nice.
-
Haha thanks. I bet you will see something I designed up in the air one day.
-
Yeah I agree with him on that. The wood is pretty good too. Keep it up.

I have to redownload GSU, but I'll be learning how to do some work on it next year for Robotics so I may start doing 3D modelling, it all depends on time and skill. Remember this aircraft isn't done yet and it will include the camo like the original version I did on it. I have a bit more to do on it. I think modelling it would be better for me though since I'm making a top view then I have to make a side view which would take a long time to get certain details to match up to the top view.
-
Your welcome. Believe me though you'll improve over time like I have.
-
Now all I suggest is to start using your creativity to make things different than those tutorials. Start experimenting with more with more plugins too. I think your works are fine. I'm just giving you some constructive criticism. Keep it up.
-
Interesting as always, but it somewhat feels empty because of all the black. If it was a little smaller maybe it would look better, but I think it's still fine.
-
Well I'm redoing my GF-44A Phantom since certain things would have made it not stealthy. Plus certain things just weren't up to my expectations. I'm mainly focusing on plate, flap/aileron, and stealth paint details. Next will be probably the camo then more of the lighting like on the wings and the engine nacelles. The main influence for the detailing on it is the F-22A Raptor which is a real world stealth fighter currently in service in the United States Air Force.
Hidden Content:Note: This is a fictional aircraft and isn't like one of those concepts meant for the real world. I guess I wanted to make a fiction on it and I may one day.
Any suggestions on how to do reflections on the cockpit since that seems to be the only thing that stumps me at this point. I know the glow I did on it is already realistic enough, but it doesn't seem like enough.
-
I understand, but could you make it dark in another way? Like maybe have the raptor jumping out of dark jungle foliage. Check out Goonfella's recent image in the Realistic Images thread and notice the foliage he put around the castle. Remember, your sig is telling a story about your raptor. People should be able to look at it and make up stories in their head about what is going on. Inspire them.
That's an interesting idea. I may do another sig. and I'll take that into consideration.
No I'm not ticked off at all. It's all constructive criticism and I'll take it to account for another raptor sig.@RaptorOkay dude, I know you're already going to be ticked off at me for saying this but the dark has to go Make it a really nice dark tan or something that the raptor comes from. Not just a fat brush with Gaussian blur smeared all over it
(that's what it looks like to me personally)

Just did another one. The idea I had was different than the outcome only because it seems I could not figure out how to do it right, but it is what it is. :
