Just been out of reach of technology for a bit is all. No worries, I haven't left you guys yet!

Great! It has a slight cooling issue (gets warm when I run cpu intensive programs), but it runs fine even then, so I'm not so worried about it. As far as processing speed goes, my old desktop has a 2.2 Ghz single core processor (.4 more than each individual core in the laptop), so it ran basic programs slightly faster, but paint.net is running at least five times faster on the laptop Thanks so much again!
