  1. perspective means that lines that are parallel in the real world should hit each other (so you should not draw them parallel) when you're drawing them, the problem with round objects is that they have no parallel lines, meaning you can't make up where the lines should hit each other, the solution to this is simple: go for almost parallel, so you should look at the sides of the glass where the lines of the glass are almost parallel and then you know where they should hit each other. just a little tip.

  3. it's good to see something a bit bad turns into something so good...

    I don't understand?

The skepticism of the first post quickly evolved into talking about how much progress is actually being made in the program? Maybe.

Correct, thought it would be clear.

  4. Well ash, I can see some minor faults in it, but it does show my point, however glass is very hard to master, because there is a reflection, a distortion and a change in the lighting, overall you did a wonderfull job as usual.

  5. Oma when you ask for information on notes you don't know what you're asking because:

there are a couple of criteria that depend which note is which:

    1. the amount of time you should hold the note, here you can choose from 6 different kinds.

    2. the pitch which is determined by the position of the note relative to the staff.

    3. wether you are on the bass or violin staff.

I'm keeping it simple this way, it's even more complicated.

I may have some words wrong as the words are barely used in English and I learned them in Dutch.

If you want some examples or ready made pictures of notes just ask.

    Edit: Wow  .

  6. I hope I understand you right, anyway: the mix alpha function allows you to mix the alpha your current picture has with the lumosity of the mask, so if I'm correct leaving the mix alpha option unchecked should just set the mask average color to alpha.

Masking works best when the mask is anti-aliased like lines or shapes, the image you're masking doesn't really matter.

  7. I believe alpha mask takes the average of the mask's color and sets the original image's (the one that is displayed on your canvas) alpha to that average and does it pixel after pixel. Thats why color is not very important, also the alpha channel is only 1 channel red, green and blue are 3 so it would be impossible to use all 3 on the alpha channel.
