Oh and, I'm thinking of making a tut, about my avatars. Is that a good idea?
I'm not sure. Do they involve any innovative techniques?

Good stuff, possum.

Kem's is easily the best.
I disagree, but I can't find the best here. Kem's smudging is out of place and pasted right on instead of being blended.
-
nice sig devilartist, but needs some more stuff. And the background is a bit weird. add some gradient maps!
Effects (smudge, c4ds, etc.) first, then maybe he'll worry about gradient maps
-
Load Gradient Mapping.
Right-click the gradient. Pick "Clear".
Right-click the white pointer on the gradient. Pick change color.
Click "More" access the alpha channel. Set it to 0. Press OK.
Enjoy your gradient.
I might want to add that the displacement part is entirely theoretical and probably not close to reality.

Not trying to be picky, but I've already had two people copy the text I put on my sig submission. Seriously?
That's because you picked the first word that comes to mind when you see a beautiful woman.

I think you could have taken this tut a step further and made them look like water, instead of being that shape. Water drops arn't white, the intital idea was fine but i think it's a bit incomplete. Hoping to see some imporvements
They're transparent, I just made the shadows more opaque so you could see them. Water doesn't color the surface it's on, it distorts it. I can't really make a tut for that, it'd change on a per-person basis. Also, I wouldn't know how.
-
It's a little too small and overcontrasted. I hope to see more from you though.
Ignore the text.
I'd add purple in the top-left corner.
Very original, good work.

That's neat, Sarkut. Can you post your cursors here?

It looks like it's floating. Hide the legs.

It seems like the majority in this forum shares a love-hate relationship with polar inversion
For me, dents, polar inversion, inside out, tile reflection, all those effects that have a "trademark" look, shouldn't be used the way they're "meant to be" primarily.

nice new sig front it has excellent flow and great depth.
The two inversions pretty much have opposite flow, and it's not really that deep.
Again, as a rule of thumb, if you can tell it's polar inversion, then you probably shouldn't be using it.

Well at a large enough magnitude, I'm pretty sure they would.
What do you mean by magnitude? The size of the viewer? Yeah, I guess, they'd have to have a head the size of a planet for that to happen though I think.

I tried my hand at a space sig:
I think planets don't ever blur, no matter the focus, but I could be wrong...
