  1. I'm sure I read somewhere, can't remember where though, that this inability to scroll past the edge when zoomed in would be altered for a future release. Is this true or just another one of my false memories :? ?

I'll try looking around to find out.

    EDIT: Found it.

Scrolling past the edge of the canvas when zoomed in -- Right now when you zoom in on the image, you can only scroll to the edge of the image. It can be inconvenient because then you have no space between the image and the scroll bars. Implementing this is dependent on some other "plumbing" work that should be done for the image canvas' rendering, and this will be taken into account when that work is being done. No ETA though.

    Found here:

Unfortunately no ETA, so barkbark and Down you'll have to carry on doubling your canvas size :(

  2. Unless you copy them while PDN is still running, paste that file in let's say My Documents and then close PDN. The history file would still be intact, then replace in the original place when you restart PDN...

Oh but wait, you can't replace files while a program is running. Doesn't matter. Everything seemed dandy in my head until I wrote it down.

  3. since i work for a pod company i cant use too many layers.i'd prefer work done on a single layer.

Do you work on as many layers as needed, then when finished press Ctrl + shift + F to flatten all the layers into one, or for the same affect: Image > Flatten. Or just save the piece of work as a JPEG, PNG or BMP (Bitmap) and that will flatten the image and save it at the same time.

  4. Great plugin Rick, but other than PDN, does anyone know of any programs that can view HD photos (that's free :D)? I've gone for that HD Photo Porting Kit but nothing seems to have changed; then again I could have misunderstood its purpose and it's not what I thought it was. Having said that, I haven't restarted my lappy yet....

  5. So what your talking about is that each line or shape drawn is an object on it's own that can be selected and moved after the fact. A bit like lines and stuff created in Microsoft Word. Am I right?

If this is the case, I'm not sure if this will be possible soon, if ever?

    Help from others?

The best advice is what Helio suggested, using the magic wand or the other selection tools.

I do hope I haven't just rambled on for nothing.

  6. Or - if you have PowerPoint - copy the image you want to a blank slide and copy from there to PDN, that works however be warned that the image you copy from PowerPoint to PDN will be the size of the original file, for instance:

image (y) is 100x100 pixels and you shrink it on Word to 50x50 (ish) pixels, when you copy it from PowerPoint to PDN it will paste as the original 100x100 and not the shrunk 50x50. Hope that made sense.

I see this a lot, PowerPoint can do more practical things that Word cannot, strange but yet very annoying most of the time.
