It shouldn't.

Actually, The_Lionhearted, the Resize tool does resize the whole image, selection or no selection. You have to select the layer, then use Rotate/Zoom (under the Layers tab) to zoom that layer out to the degree you want.
-
Unfortunately, you can not. If you want to make vectors, I would use Inkscape.
-
Even better!
Weird...(literally
)

Something I made using that technique:
-
You can use the different fill types (default is solid color) to achieve the effect you want, I believe.
-
You can always just make a directory on your USB stick and copy the files from C:/Program Files/Paint.NET .
If you have one.
-
Good job, dake. I can already see very good use for this!

I think you like making album art more than having the imaginary band!

Well, you can use this tutorial to cut out the images. To resize, open the Resize window (Image/resize.) Then you can adjust by percentage or absolute size. What kind of help do you need for text?
-
Exactly. Obviously The Slippster is in a state of euphoria.
BTW, good work, Rick.
-
Are you putting the text on a new layer? Maybe you could post a pic. to help us.
-
So, dump it on a CD and install it on your home computer...
That's what I did on a different computer.

One of the first things I do when I start liking a project that I'm working on is save it. Then I continually save after various changes I make to it. If I think that I may want to go back to a previous step, I just start saving it as something similar (e.g. water, water1.) I Don't know if this helped, it's sorta something you have to put to habit.
-
Don't shout, TheCharacter. :o
-
Yes, it does.
-
I don't think it's a problem. If it's to much inconvenience to just double click on a layer, I mean, come on.
Also that could be annoying if you didn't want to adjust the properties at that moment.

I kinda like it... the only thing that detracts from it are the squiggles. Maybe a little blur?
-
I don't know who would want this as a sig, but, hey. It looks cool.
-
Well, I'm not sure it deserves a tutorial, I just threw that together in about two minutes to show what you could use the Hex grid for. Anyway, your right, I used the Dents plugin on some green and black clouds. As for the grid, the eaten away effect was simpley adding some clouds set to additive over a grid.
-
Hmm, your right. I'm going to try to make a better one tomorrow.
-
I am running paint.NET on Windows Xp. Whenever I extract a font into my fonts folder...
What? You did install them, right?
-
Hey, that sounds like it would be a cool game. Someone makes some of a sig and then hands it off to someone else to see what they can come up with. Idk, maybe it just sounds cool to me haha.
That could be interesting! I'm sure I'd like to have a look at its PDN.
