see this. then after you did what it says paste it in a new layer and do whatever you want.
-
then you can put it b&w and then try to colorize it (using overlay mode)

everyone has their own opinion...

Oh, Rick, move this to GD please
-
OK, go to Datei>Sprasche>English
-
Why don't you post it in the pictorium instead of creating a new topic?
-
mmm... i dunno... i have it in my folder.

Something I've been toying with:
Reasons for wanting a new logo:
* Change is good, and refreshing
* We only have our current icon at up to 128x128. With a new one designed from scratch (by me!) we have it at up to 2048x2048. This makes it easy to provide a 256x256 icon for Windows Vista, and to publish higher resolution logos.
* It's fun
And yeah the thing was done entirely in Paint.NET ... a mix between 2.6x and 3.0. The latter has better text rendering.
better text rendering? whooray!!! when you write an "a" in Arial in 72 size it looks like it isn't anti-aliasing. (this happens with other letters too)
-
what you just replied is a bit confusing... maybe rick knows what to do...
-
:? yeah it doesn't auto-select, but just type Ctrl+A and it'll select the layer...
-
i already answered: "oh make sure the layers window is open (if not, F7) and then select the layer (not the checkbox, click the name of the layer instead)"

O_o why did you bump such an old board!?
-
why is this in General Coding? It should be in the GD, i think.
-
VERY nice work rick!

With all the details and restrictions he gave, there is no reason, why it shouldn't be possible
@thread starter: how about a sample pic or sth. or give more details...
I posted "??" because i didn't understand the question
Invisible tutorial?
