I install Paint.net, (Newest) it tells me it will install both of these programs. I click ok, it downloads .net 4.6.2 successfully, then starts to install. Says complete. Then says "SetupFrontEnd - This application could not be started", it requires .net Framework Version 4.6 (????), do I want to download, I choose yes. I asks the same question again. I click yes again. Everything closes. I'm on Windows 8.1, is this happening a lot? TYIA

I can't see what a feather effect or any of those when it's selected because of the ant trail. You know the selection thingy.

Yeah It seems like a tough manual job, let me run it a few times on a new background I have as a test with your method to make sure I have my brain in wack for it. Oh at what stages would I use feather selection, and is that the best one to use? TY

If you see this on a dark background I was able to add a white drop shadow to make it easier to see. This other picture... I'm not able to do the same, is it because the picture has a background and is not transparent? I'm not in touch anymore with the original creator, what can I do? TYIA folks.
