    Hello,

     

    I have a question about ShapeMaker after making the same image, repeatedly, it looking, seemingly, appropriate, and appears fine within then installing it I see it is only right within outline of the shape but not fill or fill outline, so, using an image to assist may likely save many posts that have more questions, as well as, perhaps, assist others that will not post with the issue or who may be having the same issue.

    A Book Folding Plug-in


     


    Menu: Effects->Object


     


    This plugin is for folding books into decorative designs.


    This is not an image effect.

    I think that rounded dots or a few more shapes (triangles, half dots, diamonds, hearts,...) could be a nice addition to the effect.

    It's a stock GDI+ Cardinal Spline you can choose from Pen Dash Styles

    You can import inkscape but it has a tendency to add way to many points (you would have to remove some extra data) and it takes a while to load. You can edit the file and give it a PDN "wrapper" and it should load without having to load it into Shapemaker. 

     

     

     

    And spirals aren't a part of xaml 'geometry'language (as far as I know, which is very little!)... but if Inkscape can do it, could the svg be imported into shapemaker?
    Would a spiral macro be incompatible with xaml?

    Inkscape files that I've seen use the same basic beziers and polygon as Shapmaker.

    It took about  a half hour - all shapes must be closed and I worked at 8X magnification. I'm not really good at designing filigree so I used the one you posted. If you want to design some I can convert them into shapes.Looks best at 1 pixel

    Help with applying texture to a picture

    resize the couch image to the same width as the texture

    on a seperate layer use line/curve tool to create the panel shape

    Copy the texture and paste as a new layer

    rotate texture layer using Rotate/Zoom under Layers Menu

    select the panel layer use the magic wand to select around the panel shape.

    select the texture layer and delete

     

    Repeat as needed
