  1. Nurse, Thank You - I believe the second tutorial I just posted will really demonstrate the versatility of the plug- in.
  2. Posted Version 1.3.1 fixes Cloning Bug - Clones were referencing parent. New Tutorial uploaded - Part I - The Basics Part II - Advanced Topics coming soon.
  3. V 1.2.6 Beta was updated in previous post added a method to save continuous transforms. "Save Transform"
  4. Version 1.2.6 Beta is ready trial Rename Splines Needed to create a new file format - .spl files are now .spf ,new format stores spline names. Universal Transform allows the user to scale, rotate and move all the splines simultaneously. Cick "Save Transfom" to Save Changes. Erase Lines Button has been added to start all over. Posted as v 1.3.0 These are the final changes - If all bugs are eliminated I will post Ver 1.3 as the official release. As I said before - Suggestions are welcomed. So far every suggestion made has been incorporated. I have a lot of tutorials to create.
  5. Pure aesthetics. It's just a trick to make the progressbar run longer - purely for show. Makes it look impressive. Here's Version 1.2.4 - removed the progress bar - looks boring. Like negative space. But to your point it is frivolous. Here' it is without the progress bar. Version 1.2.4 Beta - Newer Version in later post VS Soutrce Code - Newer Version in later post
  6. I intend to flesh out the empty space - It should look better when I'm done.
  7. Beta Version 1.2.3 Fixes Resizing bugin full screen - (code has been updated look in later posts) Source Code Published -(code has been updated look in later posts) Future Changes not yet implemented: - Rename Splines - Universal Transform Scale Size move rotate for all splines in shape - Update an edited spline.
  8. Red Ochre Here's some changes based on your comments Full Screen Plugin - Still have Pan and scan because I wanted the 1 to 1 pixel ratio. Fixed Double dialogs - turns out to have been a cut and paste error. Version 1.2.2 Beta (this link has been updated to current version Look in later posts) Thanks for your insight. New version was reposted Centering all Controls.
  9. Motto & Red Thanks for trying it out, I'm suprised no bugs have appeared. Red - I would love to make the surface bigger but I'm trying to keep it to 800 X 600 for older machines. Zoomin comprimises resolution so I opted for the Pan and Scan. I should push it to 1024 and see if anyone complains. Good suggestion, Yeah, there's 3 layers that render. Layer 1 is the checker board to compensate for transparent layers. then you see Layer 2. come up which is the working image then finally layer 3 which is the line overlay. You are seeing Layer 1 appear briefly. If your working on a transparent Layer that would be your background as a frame of reference for pan and scan. Not a bug if you upgrade to Windows 7 it may not even be noticed. That has annoyed me too , I'm not sure why it does that. I will experiment to see how I can eliminate that.
  10. To All, Here's the Beta Version of version 1.2.1 - Lots of features so I need help trying to break it. Sorry no instructions yet. Suggestions are welcome. Save and Load multiple spline as a single drawing ReScaling - so same splines can be used on different resolution Moving Rotating (this link has been updated to current version Look in later posts)
  11. Gosh I've never folded a book, but from the Instructables by TeFrerrel... http://www.instructables.com/id/Book-Art-How-to-Fold-a-Book-into-a-Word/ I see he uses a scale of 10 per pixel inch (2.53 cm). I'm confused as to how one could use Word since one would have to wrestle with the kerning and justification. Pixel Primer The output file is in pixels (Picture Elements). On a computer graphic pixels are arranged in columns and rows like an Excel spreadsheet cell. Different font sizes achieve a different pixel count. The output file tells you the pixel location in the the terms of how many rows from the top and how many columns from the left margin. The length is how far to the right of that location the pixel extends. I think TeFerrel scales depending on the dimensions of the book (or the number of pages). The word "Love" would require much less pixels for a paperback novel than it would in the monstrous textbook TeFerrel used. My "test" example is only 12 pixels wide. If the book has is 2 inches wide then I assume 6 pixels per inch (2 pixels per cm) or less is appropriate..
  12. Oceana, I'm, sorry for the confusion , what I meant is that it "saves settings in between uses during a session". In other words as long as you don't exit PDN it keeps the colors and line widths, opacicy, tension etc. I am working on an update that will let you export and reload groups of splines so you can make a shape and reuse them later. It will also let you rotate move and resize splines. But, unfortunately, that is not finished yet.
  13. "Chum is Fum" - Patrick Star

  14. Update Version 1.1.1 Saves settings for repeated use. OK now I'm done

  17. Updated to version 1.0.2 a checkbox (Closed & Filled) enhancement - to make the usage more intuitive
  18. Thanks, Red Those are excellent suggestions - I'm a little under the weather so it may be a few days, but I will definitely implement those ideas.

  20. Ego is correct. This plugin was written to quickly help teferrell, I found his instructable very fascinating. I didn't flesh it out for general use because I didn't think it would have that many uses. Thanks EER
