smccallister
Please forgive me if this question has already been asked. I am a new paint.net user and was wondering if there is a plugin or setting that will allow me to edit a text layer that was originally created in photoshop. I found the plugin that allows me to import photoshop files but I can't seem to edit the text. I have looked through the boards and could not find a solution. ANy help is appreciated. Mike Ryan
Text layers cannot be edited. In fact, once the text is 'written' it cannot be edited.
Helio
I'm very sorry, this unfortunately cannot be done. Photoshop allows editing of text at any time until it is rasterized (as you know), but Paint.NET does not support vector objects, so as soon as you load a .psd into Paint.NET, any and all vectors are converted immediately to rasters. Quote v An excellent open–source strategy game—highly recommended. "I wish I had never been born," she said. "What are we born for?" "For infinite happiness," said the Spirit. "You can step out into it at any moment..."
