VastOceans
Hello fellow netpainters, I have a quick request or how-to question. There is this image (see attachment) that I is not very well outlined. As you can see, some black lines are still surrounded with some shades of grey (not 50 ;-)). My question: is it possible to give a task wherein you ask to replace all colors that are not black and everything that is white, with black. In doing so, the different shades of grey would turn into black, making the outline looks smooth. I hope I stated my request clearly. If somebody would have the knowledge (or perhaps time to fix this), that would be great. Thanks. david.atwell
In cases like this, the easiest way to do it would be to just turn up the contrast (and possibly the brightness) on the image. Give that a shot and see if that helps. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

VastOceans
Just to clarify my request a little... As you can see in the image, the black lines are surrounded by slightly grey pixels, what would be the fastest way to get these pixels black? VastOceans
This is by the way the original image. Unfortunately its lost, and I am trying to get the black print back on a clean white background. If no one has a quick solution/trick, it will be the patient hand-work
VastOceans
You could try the isolate lineart plugin http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=13535 ... and use the line tool/ and or other tools to touch it up. Maybe ? And then add a clean white layer underneath it Ok, thanks! That helped a lot. This is my result so far...
