Color-replacement/outline question

Recommended Posts

Hello fellow netpainters,

I have a quick request or how-to question.

There is this image (see attachment) that I is not very well outlined. As you can see, some black lines are still surrounded with some shades of grey (not 50 ;-)).

My question: is it possible to give a task wherein you ask to replace all colors that are not black and everything that is white, with black.

In doing so, the different shades of grey would turn into black, making the outline looks smooth.

I hope I stated my request clearly. If somebody would have the knowledge (or perhaps time to fix this), that would be great.

Thanks.

In cases like this, the easiest way to do it would be to just turn up the contrast (and possibly the brightness) on the image. Give that a shot and see if that helps.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Thanks for the reply. So there is no way that you can give a command to make everything that is not black (except white) black?
