BobTurbo
Process: print screen of the website I am developing paste into paint.net Cut a section out and save it as a PNG (tried 32-bit and 8-bit) Add the new image to the website The new image colour is "off" by a smallish amount (supposed to be the same colour as the background that I cut it from) Open paint.net, notice the colour somehow changed. Use the fill tool to change it to what it was supposed to be Still doesn't fix the problem even though the eye dropper is reporting the same colour as the colour used by the website (as seen in css hex) Installed photoshop, performed the same process as above (without the extra step of filling in the mysteriously changed colour). Works as expected (image is same colour as website background). Edited June 11, 2011 by BobTurbo
BobTurbo
Nevermind, used pngcrush to remove all of the embedded profiles/other stuff and it now works.
