WOTW # 33 Theme is – That Decade... POLL IS OPEN ! POLL CLOSES MONDAY EVENING AT 8:00

WOTW Comp Rules: All submissions must be created in Paint.net with the exception of renders and stock photos when allowed.

Minimum size is 800 X 600. There is no maximum size, but keep in mind that people will want to look at your image

and if it takes too long to load, they may not look at it.

Please try to make your image in the proportion of a Wallpaper, because this is a Wallpaper comp. (Duh!)

NO PLACEHOLDERS Do not post an entry until it is a finished product. NO WIPS !

Obviously you cannot use the stocks or renders as your entire submission, so the majority of your image should be

created in Paint.net.

Theme is " That Decade... "

The Theme Idea

You are to make a wallpaper that depicts life in one of the decades listed below.

The idea is to make a wallpaper that would reflect the life and history of days gone by in a way that illustrates through images the feeling of that time or styles that embody that era. Since this is a forum that is represented by artists from all over the world, you may choose to make your theme specific to your country or region or one that you have never been to.

1890's 1900's 1910's 1920's 1930's 1940's

1950's 1960's 1970's 1980's 1990's

The Theme Specifics IMPORTANT!

You MUST use Stocks photos for this round ! Do your research !

If photos are not available for the earlier decades, etchings or paintings will be allowed.

You MUST have text somewhere in your wallpaper that indicates the decade that you chose. It MUST be conspicuous in it's placement. (That means I have to be able to see it real easy)

It's is understandable that some time periods will overlap so try to be as specific as you can in your stock image selection as possible.

You must use Paint.Net but you may also use other graphics programs as well.

This comp will run for TWO Weeks !

DO NOT Post your entries in this thread. PM your entries to me and I will post them as they come in.

Entry period for this competition will run through 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening (June 5th, 2011), U.S. Eastern Time.

All submissions entered up to this time will be allowed.

If you have any questions, post them in the Discussion Thread or PM Possum Roadkill. I would be happy to help anyone interested.
