mroseto
Hello all, I have two maps that I want to overlay. getting them into new layers is easy what I am having issue with is the georeferencing of the maps. Since they are from different distances getting them to be perfectly aligned on each other is very difficult. Is there a way to do this better? Like pick a point then pick its corresponding point on the layer? Thanks in advance. Mike
Sarkut
Can you post links to the two maps? Being able to see them would be helpful.
mroseto
Here are both maps. I would like to overlay the Black & White one on top of the Color One.
Sarkut
Import both images, black-and-white top layer. Layers > Import from File... Press Esc to deselect. Center the color image, using Align Object plugin. Set the black-and-white top layer Opacity to about 160. Reposition the top layer with the Move Selected Pixels tool. It will need to be rotated clockwise slightly, also. . Edited November 9, 2010 by Sarkut
