phcahill
Hi Pyrochild asked me to start a fresh thread with this as I tacked it on an old thread. I am having a crash on printing. I am printing from Windows 7 to a shared printer on windows 7. Word can print OK. I am not using homegroup sharing. Paint.net version 3.5.3 (and the prior version), no extra plugins. The computer doing the printing is running a fresh install of W7 with all MS updates. Faulting application name: PaintDotNet.exe, version: 3.53.3690.27082, time stamp: 0x4b6f4694 Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bdadb Exception code: 0xc0000374 Fault offset: 0x000c283b Faulting process id: 0xcc8 Faulting application start time: 0x01caad334320e974 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\PaintDotNet.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Report Id: 84f31994-1926-11df-916a-002618349d0a Regards Paul PS a big thanks to the authors for paint.net. Sarkut
phcahill, These two are worth trying: Reboot the PC. Run PdnRepair.exe . Program Files/Paint.NET/PdnRepair.exe
phcahill
Thanks for the suggestion but I still have the problem. The message on the paint.net screen under the crash dialogue is "Please wait while the printer sends information to windows". It could well be a driver issue (it is a lexmark!) however other apps are fine. Regards Paul
