emmaroxsox
I try installing it, and all it does is run the Paint.net SFX setup. So it runs through, closes itself, and i'm thinking the actual installer is going to pop up, but it never does. I can run it again and again but all it will do is close itself and that's that. PLEASE HELP. This NEVER happened with the older version (I had the older version, upgraded it, tried opening the program today and it wouldnt open, so i uninstalled it, now i'm trying to re-install it and...you get the picture.) Help? Tips?

emmaroxsox
I looked through it, installed the uninstaller thing and uninstalled paint.net that way, AND repaired the .net framework, and it still refuses to work. No error messages when i try to install it, it just wont install.
Sarkut
If you have access to another PC, you could try this to see whether error messages are being suppressed. Link Removed. Edited April 7, 2010 by Sarkut

Sarkut
emmaroxsox, Here's a download link for a PdnSetup folder if you want to use setupshim.exe as shown in the previous link. Link Removed Edited April 7, 2010 by Sarkut
emmaroxsox
Won't work. All it does is make my computer run extremely slow and not make any sort of installer pop up until i end the setupfrontend processes and setupshim process. my computer's pretty messed up. It's probably just my computer. Which sucks.
