Transparent bits of image go black

Recommended Posts

I'm using PHP to print to an image with transparent corners (for rounding) and they show as transparent when viewing the image in my browser on it's own, but not with text printed to them. I can create examples if necessary but does anyone know why it might be happening?? Is it anything to do with the image itself or not??

It's probably the format you're saving the image as. Some formats don't support transparent pixels which make them appear black. I recommend saving your image as a PNG file.

Hope this helps.
