How do I use PDN Add-Ons (dumb Q, dumb asker)

Recommended Posts

I just found out that PDN has a lot of downloads available (I love PDN but never knew there were add-ons - now I'm Really in love!).

I downloaded an add-on package, expecting to see a .exe file or something to install it. Of course, it just contained several .DLL files. I don't know how to use these. Do i just copy them to the PDN subdirectory? Create an "add-ons" directory and put them there? Or what?

I know this is a very simple question and I apologize for my ignorance. :-) Thanks!!

There's a tutorial in the Plugins forum that tells you exactly how to do that. It's sticky'd to the top- Ask any questions you may have there. :-)

And you're right, it's the plugins that make this program truly great.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
