Left4Dead
Hello there. I've been using Paint.net for about 2 years now and love it! Believe it or not I only discovered this forum and Pluggins last night! I just have a question. I have this logo.... Instead of it being black, I'd like to use an image as the text background/colour. I hope you understand what I mean? Is this possible at all? Thanks in advance.
Boude
You could use my plug-in (http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=28269), use the alpha to color mode, and on a new layer under your logo paste your image or fill bucket your color. Left4Dead
Thanks for your reply. I gave it a try, but I couldn't get the desired effect. I found this while searching.... viewtopic.php?f=37&t=29856 This is the kind of thing I'm looking for. But can't seem to figure out how to do it. :? Boude
Try creating an alpha mask of your image and then using it on the image you want to cut out. You can find the alpha mask plugin in the plugins section of this forum, it's stiky'd. If you want the outline too you can use the outline plugin from pyrochild, his pack is also sticky'd, for the reflection duplicate layer, flip vertical and transparant gradient.
