eglantine
Hi guys, I have searched the "uninstall" topics. Everytime I try to uninstall I get an error message. I go to Programs and Features, click on Paint.NET v3.36 and click uninstall. A box comes up that says "Preparing to Remove..." I allow it, and then I get the message "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor" I click ok. and nothing. I figured I had deleted something wrong, so i tried to reinstall and I got an error message saying something like I was missing "paintdotnet_305968510.msi' or something crazy like that. I have no idea what too. Can someone help me please? Much thanks

david.atwell
Did you ever move or rename the C:\Program Files\Paint.NET folder? Quote  The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
