natanz
Hi! I want to make a picture to be used as a game board (like Monopoly). It should be about 40 inch x 22.5 inch. I keep running into this issue when I resize the (blank) image: I fill in: resolution: 300 pixels/inch print size: 40 inch x 22.5 inch Now on top it says 'New size 309 MB' and the computer fills in width: 12000 px height: 6750 px When I click OK, it says 'Not enough memory to resize the image.' I have 2 GB memory. Maybe I should make the picture in pieces? Is that the only solution? Thanks, Natanz
david.atwell
Yes, it's the only option. I need to refer you to this thread for you to understand why. viewtopic.php?f=10&t=23125 Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
