Unwanted canvas resizing problems

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I have been having problems with my image resizing on it's own. Example. I made a 3.5 x 2 inch business card. I put ten of the cards on an 8.5 X 11 inch page and saved the image. The next time I opened the image the page had changed to 6.8 X 8.8 inches, and my original card shrunk to 2.8 x 1.6. Why?? The worst part is that when I resize the image it becomes fuzzy. I don't understand why paint does this. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I can do to stop this from happening?

I have wasted a lot of time on many projects due to this problem. I'd really appreciate some advice.

Thanks,

Matt.

How are you resizing them? Please post exact steps, so that we can accurately diagnose the problem.

Also, if you could post an image of the cards (both "fuzzy" and not), that would be helpful.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Does the working on the project involve pasting any other images into the canvas?

What about the DPI? Do you pay attention to that?

And, by the way, I took no offense to your comment. Thank you for clarifying, though. :-)
