ontherun
I am aware, return to mouse pointer after using paint.net tools has been an issue for a while. It would to seem that a solution would be to add a mouse icon in the tool list that would bring the mouse point back. I know the point comes back when you go into the upper menu area. But if I'm trying to show someone an area of a photo or graph I would rather switch to a mouse point, so I don't have, to correction a mistake I might make using a paint.net. May a change of that effect could be emulated in the next program issue. Thanks for the great program Woody
toe_head2001
Wouldn't the Pan tool () accomplish what you need? https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/ViewTools.html#Pan 1 Quote (September 25th, 2023) Sorry about any broken images in my posts. There is no 'mouse pointer' to return to in the way that you describe; there never has been. One of the tools is always active and the appropriate pointer is displayed. As @toe_head2001 suggests, you can use the Pan tool. You can even set that to be the default tool.
