david.atwell Posted November 6, 2008 Share Posted November 6, 2008 A "sticky" is how we call attention to certain topics on the forum by making them stay near the top. You may notice that in some of the forums (such as General Discussion & Questions, Tutorials, Plugins, Pictorium, etc.) there are some threads with this icon next to it: that never seem to disappear down the page. That's a sticky. :-) It's considered a high honor in the Tutorials and Plugins forums to have your tut or plugin sticky'd. It means that any user can get to it easily without searching too hard for as long as it remains sticky'd. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... There are quite a few things that I have had to wade through to get to what I was looking for. I just subscribed to the thread so that I could find it again. For the sticky system to work, we have to have very few sticky'd posts. But we will consider it.
