thesnipenieer Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 My PDN file I'm working on isn't opening and it provides this: Quote Application version: paint.net 4.2.13 System.FormatException: file is not a valid paint.net document at PaintDotNet.Document.FromStream(Stream stream) in D:\src\pdn\src\Data\Document.cs:line 1329 at PaintDotNet.FileType.Load(Stream input) in D:\src\pdn\src\Data\FileType.cs:line 513 at PaintDotNet.Functional.Func.Eval[T1,TRet](Func`2 f, T1 arg1) in D:\src\pdn\src\Base\Functional\Func.cs:line 158 I've tried searching for ways to fix but I've found nothing. However, for some reason another file was made, but instead of .pdn it's .pdn~RF118be85. What does that mean? Does it help in recovering the file?EDIT: Nevermind, I fixed it by changing the file's name to a simple .pdn and converting it to a png. the layers were lost, but luckily the image is saved Quote
