change color but obtain transparent background (Solved)

Hi,

 

I do have some pictures with transparent background. However I want to knid of aling the images. Therefore I want to change to color of the writing. But if I do and insert the picture to e.g. a powerpoint the transparent background is lost.

 

Not sure whether it's of importance but the files are in png format.

 

Am I missing something, respectively how can I achive this?

OK - ignore my question. I don't know what I did yesterday, but today it's working like a charm without any issues.
