I use PaintNet for my photo compositions and many times I need to put out of focus only some parts (i.e. the outline) of a subject but PaintNet focus effects adjust focus on all the picture. Eli Posted April 18, 2020 Share Posted April 18, 2020 This is how I do it: Duplicate the layer with your image and apply to the image on the new layer Gaussian Blur (blur the image as much as you need). Then, use the eraser tool (choose a large brush with a tolerance of 0) to erase the parts you want to be sharp. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
