Where is the color palette

Recommended Posts

It's possible that your Colors window was toggled off (F8), or that it was scrolled off-screen. Either way, similar to how toolbars and dialogs in Microsoft Word can be enabled and disabled, Paint.NET too has a "Window" menu option through which you can control which dialog windows are visible. There is also an option to "Reset Window Locations", which can come in handy if a palette is accidentally put off-screen.

So, if pressing F8 doesn't make it pop back in, simply choose Window > Reset Window Locations, and it will magically appear in the lower left corner of the program where it started.

And please, try to be more calm next time. We're here to help, but that doesn't mean we like being yelled at. ;)
