Hi

This is probably going to sound stupid but I cant seen to figure it out! Is there a way to use the clone stamp to clone part of one picture into another? On the previous photo software I had it was realy simple you just opened the picture you wanted to clone in a seperate window click the bit you want then click on your main image and draw and it would appear - unfortunatly I have a new computer and cant find the disc and cant afford to buy latest copy - not sure if its vista compible anyway! When I try using the clone stamp between different images nothing happens! Any help would be great!

copy the image onto a new layer over the picture you are trying to clone an image onto, hide it or make it partially transparent, and then set the source on the partially transparent layer, and then select the layer which you want to clone the picture on to, align the two circles, and clone! :D
