  1. I'm an intermediate newbie;-), means I get there on the 3rd or 4th try. Maybe the 5th or 6th try. Just installed several plugin pac's for the first time. Couldn't find some of the effects where they should of been in the drop down menus, then noticed I had put a folder containing some of the plugin's in the effects folder. Went back, moved the DLLs files from the folder to the effects folder, deleted the old folder, aha the new effects were now on the menu. So, for all of you who can't find an effect after you have installed the plugin, make sure you only put the DLLs files in the effects folder. I know, simple thing, but..............we're newbies.:-) Another general suggestion I've found useful after using Paint 2 or 3 years is build your own help file. Make a folder in your documents section or where ever, name it Paint Tutorials or some such thing, the when you come to the forums, find your answer, copy/paste into a note and save to your folder. In 6 months it will save you a trip back to the forums, trying to remember just where you found whatever you needed. The guys who create all these neat things put info on where to find stuff, how to use it and so on which I have copied and pasted into my Paint folder for the plugins I nabbed. Great reference. Thanks for all the hard work.
