doesnt appear so but Maybe?

Wow, your last drawing is very impressive.
I really like your style and I will be checking back here often!
Are the textures on the pictures hand made?

I suggest Paint.NET somehow makes a way to figure out what plugins are not working.
Is there a way you could program an action to run each plugin without closing Paint.NET down (when an error occurs), and tell which .dll in the effects folder is the problem?
It could maybe create a prompt: This may take a large amount of time, please do not operate the computer in any other way while running this. Are you sure you want to continue? Y/N
And then it does its thing for a while and after being finished creates a text on your desktop of which .dll's are not working.
If its not possible to tell which .dll isn't working maybe just which effect so people can figure it out on themselves?
This seems like it would be extremely hard to code and it is just an idea.
I cannot make this myself seeing as I have no idea what Paint.net can/cannot do or what/what not is 'code-able.' Sorry
Input?

Whoops my bad, sorry I only use png to save transparency so I always forget the types that save it >.

Vista doesnt support PNGs, its very lame

ok use the magic wand tool to select the white around the girl, press delete, and save that picture as a .png. That file type allows for transparency.
Then add a new layer to the image you want it on top of and open your other image. Select aroudn the girl with the magic wand, press Cntrl+I(invert) do Cntrl+C(Copy) and paste on the background of your choosing.
When using the magic wand, , change the tolerance at the top whatever you want.
When pasting to the new layer, make sure you select keep canvas size.
When resizing the girl to fit the picture, hold shift to keep the aspect ratio of the original

it overlaps his hand in a place or two but its not too noticible. Try one on oyourself or a picture youve taken!
I like how you didnt make it clamp to the body but all around it instead

Try to use as little lines as possible, keeping it as curvy as possible with the line tool
Make a layer, use the pencil tool, try to draw what you want
Then add another layer and trace over it, be as smooth as possible with the line tool.
Then delete the layer with pencil on it.

Here are the rules, you should atke a good long look at them: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3446
To make 3d text you could always make some text and use the "Drop Shadow" Plugin.

Curves controls The channels of Red Green and Blue, by changing the mode from Luminosity to RGB you can change color values.
With Curves+(a plugin) there are so many mroe options. Search "Curves+" in http://www.getpaint.net/search.html and select the plugins box
