Hi, i have the same Problem with Paint.NET 3.36 and .NET-Framework 2.0 SP2. I can't install Paint.NET. If i only install .NET 2.0 or .NET 2.0 SP1 - Install works, with .NET 2.0 SP2 it does NOT work. (see Picture) if i install Paint with NET 2.0 SP1, it works, but after updating to NET 2.0 SP2 i can't start it. But Paint.NET 3.35 does NOT have any Problem with any Version of .NET-Frame 2.0 (SP0,SP1,SP2)-works every time. If i update .NET 2.0 SP2 with .NET 3.5 SP1, i don't have any Problems, neither installing nor using the Program. But i don't want to install NET 3.x. There is NO install.log or similar if the Installer crashes.

Hi you need .NET 3.5 SP1 PS: to see the Error-Message, install the LanguagePack for your .Net-Version Hope this helps.
