  1. I do not want to sell anything. I would not earn anything anyway. And this guy who wrote the plugin host is not my friend. I was just trying to show some options for improving Paint.net. But if you do not want any help or suggestions, it is fine with me... In case Photoshop plugins should ever work in Paint.net, please contact me. I can mention it on my website (300,000 visitors/month) and in my newsletter (with currently 137,000 readers). I will do that for FREE, in case someone thinks I am now trying to sell ad space :-).
  2. There are more than 50 non-Adobe applications that run Photoshop plugins, so why should Paint.net not provide such a feature. Considering the thousands of available Photoshop plugins it would certainly be something that could make a lot of people switch to Paint.net. GIMP offers source code for a Photoshop plugin host, but it is not very compatible and many plugins have problems with it. I know a guy who wrote a Photoshop plugin host, which works with 99.9% of all Photoshop plugins, and he is offering it for sale. If you are interested, please let me know.
