  1. Rick says its not compatible, and AutoFX is a commercial package and is PhotoShop compatible. I currently use it with Corel's PhotoPaint. I like Paint.Net's speed and lightweightness, but its got to use commercial plugin packages... You can get the plugin by getting their demo program which sports a external program and the plugin...

So we can get away from heavily feature bloated programs like PhotoShop and Corel, and from what I've seen from Paint.NET, that is all I need to make the move for 85% of my photo editing work... So, if Paint.NET is going to ignore industry plugins like the AutoFX package, then it is forcing us to stay in their camps... (and what a shame)
  3. I cannot get Paint.NET to see and use the AutoFX PGE (PhotoGraphicEdges) plugins. Is there a compatibility issue? I added the plugin in the effects folder, paint.net's root folder and the FileTypes folder, and none worked...
