I have a still image. I would like to show the still image alongside and animated gif in one single image. e.g. the animated gif can be on left side and the still image on the right side. can any one please suggest whether it is possible with paint.net. thanks.

I have an animated gif. Now I would like to place a background to the animated gif. Can anyone guide in a stepwise manner how to do it in paint.net. thanks. Example attached shows one animated gif and a human face to be used as background.

The lasso tool is great for selecting irregular shapes. However, for someone who is not a pro artist, it becomes very difficult to precisely trace the outlines. What I normally have is a jagged irregular tracing rather than smooth tracing. Can anyone help me how to achieve this precision by someone who does not have the steady hand that artists have. Just by way of example, I attach a simple graphic of a chef's hat which I need to select by tracing with the lasso tool and copy it to paste on another image. Thanks.

I wonder if a plugin could be provided to this excellent program that will enable putting speech or thought balloons on images? Thanks
