I am new to this program and I am trying to take photos of my son and make them black and white photos while keeping his eyes blue. I have found a tutorial on here that I have tried 7 times and all I get at when I merge layers is a black and white pic. Please help me. I am good at following directions but for some reason this is not working for me!! Thanks!

I have tried this 7 times and followed the instructions to the T and it does not work. Can someone help me or direct me to where I can find another set of instructions that might explain better what to do? thanks!
