At last I finished one and am elated. Here it is.

I'm having trouble with this part... Move this layer above the black box layer. Then select the black box layer and use the magic wand to select the box. You can then use the "move selection" tool to elongate the box so that it creates a white frame around the picture. I selected the box and used the move selection tool to elongate, but when I deselect it doesn't leave a white box around the picture. Please guide me a little more on this.

How do you make a rectangle that has one side higher than the other, this is what I meant when I was asking about a 3d rectangle. I'm very new at paint.net so the learning curve is still pretty high for me. Thank you all who responded about using the shape3d plugin.

I apologize if this question has already been asked and answered, but I can't figure out how to use what ever tool I need in order to create a 3D rectangle. Can someone please explain this to me? Thank you, kindest regards
