I'm glad you see the value in the tool.
Surely, that is a very small price to pay for the convenience that is the Plugin Browser?
I was just observing.... very, very small price to pay indeed
EER I totally understand the issue(s) involved with "who is the messenger"/"message" bit.
Was only an observation is all. (I was not shouting with the "NOT", sorry for any misunderstanding, just highlighting the "not" part - italics would have been preferable)
The quality of the Browser is beyond words. With so many fun and useful plugins available and trying to locate and organize them is a hairy proposition - Browser is an invaluable "Effect".

Another observation on the Plugin Browser. First, excellent tool in the arsenal - absolutely.
Okay, if you run an Effect from within the Plugin Browser, that Effect is NOT listed in the History dialog, rather the Plugin Browser "Effect" is listed. For instance, if I use the Plugin Browser and choose Shape3D, then I get a spherical object on the canvas. In the History dialog there is a record of the Plugin Browser being used, but not which Effect. I'm sure it's not as simple as that, but it might be confusing if multiple Effects are used via the Plugin Browser?

yup - seems to occur when trying to bookmark an effect. Also when removing the bookmark.

Note 2
It appears to only affect those plugins I have bookmarked. Removing the bookmark removes the error. Attempting to add the bookmark works but generates the error again. Hope that narrows it down.

From here too?
Nope... but no worries, probably because I've not posted enough?

Um, perhaps not?

Troublemaker here again.... Toe Head, thanks for that last update - certainly seems faster. I believe I may have "discovered" another
bugundocumented product characteristic. I am playing about with Bruce Bowyer-Smyth's BLUR effects and they are not showing up in the browser. Under Effects/Blurs they are named "(GPU)...Blur". I guess the label beginning with open parenthesis "(" might be an issue? Hope not a bother.Best, Hugh

Ego... is that a mean streak in ya? Happy New Year.

Many thanks ToeHead and Ego. Didn't mean to be bearer of bad news. Ego, I'm not familiar enough with PDN and it's plugins so don't fully understand your statement.

I do like this plugin. I have one issue that might help? When there are plugins where there is no Author then that plugin is not listed when listing by Author, rather than showing a blank in the Author column (or show "Unknown"?)
Other than that, great addition to the application. Thanks very much

Thanks David. I hope I've not lost the plot.

Using PdN 3.2, when I hover over the Tools, History, Layers and Colors windows, the transparency disapears (goes to 100% opaque (I guess). However, when I bring up, for instance, Layers Properties or an Effects dialog, the transparency does not become 100% opaque and can be a little difficult to read as the image can distract from the window. Does this make sense?
Thanks... and glad to be on this forum. I know there's a lot of great stuff to garnish.

Thanks guys - no worries, I've disabled Microsoft Defender. Another funny thing - I have 2 machines and only 1 shows this as a false positive. Very strange indeed.
