  1. Aww, that's almost cute. But where're all the electrons?

    ...maybe that's what it's missing!

They're moving so fast that they can only be seen as three rings, that's why

Also like the Sozo in space piece. Especially the color change you put in the revisited version :)

  2. @yellowman--awesome spacefish! How long did that take you? Also, I'm pretty sure I recognize the texture from a certain distort, but I can't remember what it was...or was it a render? The depth perspective also looks really good. My only qualm would be the background and the planet, but I can tell that the focus was more on the spacefish than the background itself so I'll let it go ;) Anyway, awesome job :D

New Planets! No stock. 100% PdN

Seems like a forgot how to make rings after a long time :|

  3. Oops ! Sorry I thought it was water. It really is a beautiful piece, as is so much of your work. If you remember more later, please let me know. I'm working on a water piece and would appreciate some feedback.

No I intended it to be water I just meant that it was a metallic sort of texture beforehand and though it would look good as water if colored the right way ;) And I'd be glad to help you out. If I remember, I'll be sure to PM you ;)

Totally no stock textures. 100% Paint.NET. Also, I'm not sure if I set my monitor's contrast low enough. Is the one on the left too dark, or is it okay as is? Or is the one on the right better? Read more on the Artist's comments on each link.

    Comments and criticism welcome :)

  4. @Jerkfight---that is an awesome looking jellyfish. Can't wait to see the final product :)

The ship was made in GIMP, but the touchups and background (including moon) were done entirely in Paint.NET. Tribute for the 40th Anniversary of the first man on the moon

    And a 100% Paint.NET piece, a close-up of the moon

  5. @Possum Roadkill--Ah that was a really old piece. One of my firsts in fact :) To tell you the truth, I honestly can't remember  The only thing I remember was creating a metallic texture and then using sin waves, and then polar inversion. How I created that metallic texture I really can't remember. Might've been Mandelbrot Fractal (because those were my "Mandelbrot Fractal abuse" days  ) distorted someway, changed to black and white, and then Curves+.

50% GIMP, but 50% Paint.NET as well. All the final touches and a majority of the background was done in Paint.NET.

If you're looking for a 100% Paint.NET work, though, you can look at my moon :)

Check out my deviantart page for the next few days, because I'll be uploading stuff (both GIMP and Paint.NET) which were basically created as byproducts of this piece (kinda like a blooper reel). I also put up an art schedule for the next few weeks.

    Comments and criticism welcome :)

  6. I think I neglected to mention this the last time I posted here, but your gallery is awesome. Love the great amount of creativity you have (it takes me forever to think of stuff to make, and even longer to actually have time to sit down and actually draw it XD). It's also great to see how your stuff has gotten better as time progresses

Hope to see more cool stuff from you in the future :)

  7. @ Goonfella & Ash, thanks, but what is wrong with the seascape? To me it looks flat, and.....and.....uh, I don't know. Yes there is a lot going on in the image, I tend to over-do things, but something is missing.

Can Would, you help me figure it out? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D

When you say seascape, do you mean the ocean above? I think the only reason it looks flat is because it's peaceful and calm..it's not like anyone's throwing a rock in there or it's storm brewing or anything. It's just a calm sunset, so it males sense for the ocean to be sorta flat.

The only minor objection I have is that there is a line separating the ocean above from the ocean below. Sorta makes it look like two separate images. I would recommend filling in that space between the waves above and the ocean below with that light blue color.

Besides that, I really love all that undersea life going on there. Fantastic job :D

  8. Hey look it didn't take me two months to reply :)

    Anyways, two new pieces:

    Gold Water Drop Wallpaper:

(A prime example of how to use Polar Inversion without making it obvious and crappy looking)

    NY Photo Manip:

    (I don't make many Photo-manips...but hey, if I feel like it :))

Hope to create a new comic before the end of the month...

  9. Hi there!

You've got a nice gallery going on here. :)

As for your newest piece, I think it s rather interesting. I like how you did the folds of the curtain. The only things I would disagree with is the perspective of your reflections. For instance, I think the perspective of the reflection of the bowl is a bit wrong when compared to the reflections of the spiders. Also, I just think your piece is lacking shadows, like under the spiders and the bowl. I just seems odd imo to see a brightly lit room at night.

Anyways, I don't mean that harshly or anything, just giving some in-depth feedback, which I haven't done in a while. It's always best to get criticism to improve  Hope to see more from you

  13. To start off, let me just say that you've got an interesting background there. I've never seen anything like it (in a good way of course  )

Anyways, I agree with meow that the sign shouldn't be so transparent, but since it's already flattened you can't really do much about it other than creating a new rectangle above it and try again. I also notice jagged gray things coming out from the sides and bottom of your sign, as if you had usedthe magic wand there or something.

Other than that, it's a nice shot for a person new to PdN :)
