see my sig? it took 3 days, the tutorial for my sig? took 6 hours and its not a complete representation of what it took to do my sig.

Thanks. I had a heck of a fun time doing it Made some Paint.Net signatures for people who wanna show off there % of Paint.net
100%:
75%:
50%:
25%:
I didn't go lower than that cause those people make me cry.
Edit: Hmm, the reflection got cut off.. Ill fix that.. [Fixed]
Edit2: Now I think the image is off :? [ignored?]
Your work is good at any percentage, you just need to mention what is all PDN so people get inspired to do the same level of work.
-
Edit: Nvm.
Edit2: There agent I made a circle type thing.
Edit3: Told ya it would be interesting.
oil paint texture, dents, and some kind of line maybe gradient turned out pretty cool. You do good work dewd.
-
go ahead just give credit; I am confident youll do something nice with it.go to my DA account for the large version and use sharpen at 10-20 to make it more glassy.
-
This really makes a great stock to manipulate with other plugins. Try twist and tiles alternately with it. I started with some freakish gradients in black and white trying to get glass from scratch. I will be exploring that more.
-
I'm practicing more now like verndewd's.
You mean the chrome? That sig turned out well if you did the bandanna chrome, excellent work.
@ The Void: Don't worry about using renders or not, it doesn't matter to most. It's if you like it, and how much you enjoyed doing it that counts!SHHHH dewd  giving him a complex almost worked.
Great start on glass Vlad. One thing we need to keep in mind, at least its on my mind is to study how the reflective qualities define a "Glass" appearance and emulate that manually.( without plug ins) or with only the most basic needed plugins.
I think its possible to do glass with gradient work alone I posted some early work on omas tut as did ash. Since i pretty much have chrome in a great basic position and have shared the basics of my knowledge on it I thought Id try getting glass glassier with manual skills Its tough, One needs to have a lot of control over the gradient layering, my last glass piece started as chrome And evolved with plug ins (cheats). we need to have a crystal orb as a base for glass qualities. Something that looks like solid crystal. Basic shapes really spell out the more complex ideas anyway.

A small globe or ball.
Red globe or ball.which should then be patterned red ball or globe.
motif globule rouge
I would call it red lotus abstract.

assuming thats 100% PDN ; wow thats cool. even if its not 100% its still a very nice pattern, Makes me think of delicate craft paper.
@ all who enjoyed the swords; thank you very much I hope to improve on the blade next.
dang!!!thats awesome
how exactly did u make those circle things
I didn't. Its from a render.
Unfinished piece.
You have been chopping renders all this time?
-
@snospmiS thank you
-
That looks like some solar storm valiente, very cool.
-
lmao Vlad I like you . you seem pretty cool .
-
lol what you post with is based on silicon wafer tecnology.
-
Looks resemblant of a silicon wafer vlad.
The mythical sword of the dewd, rumored to be able to seperate bossons and gluons and skin an angstrom form any material. Well in reality its handy for making a grilled cheese and throwing at trees.
-
Vlad thats pretty dang cool, a bit high in saturation but still very cool.
-
-
yeah thats cool annie excellent color.

Very nice, verndewd; I like what you did with it.
I am working on throwing a river in there(kind of) got the makings of a lava flow so far; i will probably set it aside until I formulate some Ideas on it.

Handy new texture.

pyro has made some killer plug ins; good chance to appreciate the people that make the plug ins and have made this awesome program. All of you deserve praise and compensation. IMHO.
-
Awesome! Antialiased and all!
And, thank you for the definition, cjmcguinness. Though that looks somewhat dark for white hot metal?
@ Andrew D
I really like it that way. I thought it was pixelated on purpose, therefore I didn't tell you anything :o
@ omgwtfbbq
I like your name.
Your art too, of course
antialaising is easy when you make a pic at 2400x800
-
sweet That pic you made with this is really great.
