It seems like we have a tough competition... $2.500 (x3) Is a lot of money... Well, that's relative, because it is 1,860.58 in euro's... I'd still like to have it tho New computer, lotsa games

Ditto. And a vote from meGotta third that

I didn't say WIDGETS were no real skinnable (Is that a word?) software, i was just referring to the clock widget. It would be nice, but more something for the Weekly Skinning competition, as i do not think this needs a whole month. Maybe something for the SOTW? With as theme: Clock.
Cursors would be nice aswell, but again, it's just a collection of cursors. That would be a month wasted. Things like WinAmp, a site, or anything else that has multiple features (an OS, anyone?) would be worth waiting for a month.
On the widgets: That could be one of the features included in an OS.
On top of that, I'm personally doing an OS theme (Just the skin nothing that actually "works"...) And i would like to have more ratings then just 1 or 2, and then being cut off by someone who made the 310464945th exploding planet with the default picture, and decided to post it in the pictorium

Anyone who dares to show his idea with normal font size? (And ofcourse a REAL skin. Not just a clock.)
-
Dark age of Camelot is multiplayer, rite? Maybe if the picture is too much off from the original, it will give an error, because it doesn't comply with the online standards.
-
Does anyone else have a better skinning idea?
-
Rating and tagging by the mods? You WILL need more then though...

Guys? It's over! We can crawl out of our hiding places, and crown Helio as our über 1337 pwnge winner You got more people's votes then all of us added up together! Congrats, you win, a new microwa... *gets whispered in the ear by assistent* Ehum... Hug!

What about... A whole new OS? No design limits, just basic functions and stuff
EDIT: Took out naughty word

Monthly Skinning Competition
My guess would be next month.
That does not make ANY sense at all, but since you'll probably be running it, i guess you're right

Sooo...
I guess its clear who won... there's no voting anymore... When are we going to start a new comp ?

When you open Paint.NET, press the "New image" button, or click File>new. A dialog will show up, in which you can set the resolution. Meaning, the size of your comic.
Alternative: Fill the layer with black (or any other color...) And copy and paste the backgrounds too a new layer.
Just open it, (File>open) It will give you a new tab in the upper right of the screen. From there, paste the characters to their place on the other picture.

Two things:
First:
The Rules[/url]":6c99e]15) Don't create a new thread just to show off your artwork (this includes avatars and signatures). The place to show off is called The Pictorium... post your work here: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1072Second: Get the feather plugin.

or use search
*nudge nudge*:wink::wink:
That is the most controversial idea i've ever heard o_O
Anyway, i guess PDN needs more of a database, which automatically transfers tutorials to the database, instead of on the forum. maybe both. this could apply for plugins aswell...

Clicking on transparent areas with the Magic wand (tolerance @ 0%, hold shift) and the pressing ctrl+I will have the same effect.

Holy carrot! That's nice

I don't stand a chance. I made too much of a gamble creating everything from scratch... But, as Mario says: Always Next time!

Does this mean a totally different UI?
-
Maybe this could be added to the plugin database idea?
To print them out in PDF, here's what i use.

EDIT: Exactly the same method as uH's tool.

I'll try to make PDF files for the tutorial I'll make from now on. Thanks for the tip, and welcome to the forums.

ANYONE could have thought of a sidebar. Although i admit, it was nice that you reminded me. You guys' interface looks much more realistic. I'll try next time... for... what's next?
-
It's on his dA aswell. I don't stand a chance.

Just a few hours from the deadline.
The main interface. Everything is costum-made:

They both include descriptions.
